Dr Ranjeet Bassi
Hello! I'm Ranjeet, and I'm a qualified Clinical Psychologist. As a psychologist, I am warm, flexible and compassionate, and I aim to get to know you and work at a pace that suits you. I work in an integrative, formulation-driven way, which means at the start of therapy we build a formulation together, which helps us understand what has led to some of the difficulties you might be having and what might be keeping the difficulties going. Integrative means I combine parts from a range of therapeutic approaches to match your needs. The main approaches I use include CBT, compassion-focused therapy, systemic or family therapy and narrative therapy.
I believe who we are is a combination of our values, the experiences we have had (either in childhood or more recently) and the family or community we come from. I will sensitively support you to explore these areas, which can be a difficult but powerful experience. I am confident working with different cultural and religious backgrounds, so if you feel it is important to work with a therapist who can help you to explore this, please do get in touch.
